How to arrive

Lleida is located in an important communication and transportation crossroads connecting Spanish roads with the rest of Europe and the Mediterranean. The city of Lleida can be easily reached from Barcelona by highway and railway. Moreover, there is now a high-speed train connecting Zaragoza/Madrid and Barcelona through Lleida.

If you are planning to travel by train, RENFE, the company that operates the journey from Barcelona to Lleida or Madrid/Zaragoza to Lleida, offers some ticket discounts.
10% Discount in RENFE
The attendees of the "10th International Workshop on Spatio-temporal modeling" can get a 10% discount on their train tickets. The offer is valid for all AVE and Long Distance trains in national route paths without being combinable with other business deals. The Conference attendee who requests the discount will receive a voucher that can be presented at any authorized point of sale (train stations and travel agencies) to obtain the discount when buying the ticket. Likewise, tickets can be purchased by Internet. A printed copy of the voucher must be carried on by the Conference attendee while travelling in order to be submitted to any access control or to RENFE staff who can ask for it. To obtain the 10% voucher discount for RENFE, you must request the organization of the conference (fundacio@udl.cat), once formalised the inscription.
